Eagle Genomics had its first symposium on the 5th April 2011, where 8 speakers from different fields of biotechnology sectors including the president of Pistoia Alliance,  GSK and university of Manchester gave their views on provisioning bioinformatics for the coming years. The delegates came from across Europe.
